Chandler Film Permits & Procedures

Depending on when and where you are filming in Chandler, you may need a Chandler Film Permit. Permits are required when filming activities impact the public on city-owned land and assets.

Each filming activity is reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine if and when a permit is required. For quick assistance, submit the "who, what, why, and how" of your production needs by completing the Film Chandler form below and a Chandler staff member will contact you to discuss your proposed film shoot.

There are many filming situations in Chandler where a film permit is NOT required – as a rule, a Chandler Film Permit is required in situations when filming activities impact the public at large, for example – the use of a park, restricting street access, and other similar situations.

Depending on the city-owned assets and properties to be used, additional rental fees may apply. An example would be the use of a City of Chandler park pavilion.

Production crews must obtain proper permission from private land and business owners when filming on non-city-owned property.

The submittal of your film shoot form does not imply or approve your film shoot. Film Chandler office staff will respond to you as soon as possible.
