To the east of Chandler, AZ, about 20 minutes by car, is Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) offering service to over 40 destinations across the United States and Canada via Allegiant Airlines and Sun Country Airlines.  

An excellent alternative for private and corporate aircraft owners flying into Phoenix is Chandler Municipal Airport (CHD), one of the nation's 50 busiest general aviation airports with more than 200,000 flight operations a year. Located just 18 miles southeast of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, the airport is conveniently located and features a pilots lounge & flight planning room, Air Traffic Control Tower, and Free Wi-Fi. The Hangar Cafe, a local favorite restaurant for breakfast and lunch is located on-site in the corner of a large, aircraft maintenance hangar offering indoor and covered patio seating overlooking the runway.
