Chandler is home to Crayola Experience  - one of five locations in the world where families can come together for hands-on fun and create lasting memories.  Other Chandler family attractions include a variety of family-fun centers that are well suited for kids of all ages and offer a great opportunity to engage the whole family in some active, air-conditioned fun.  Toddlers will find designated play areas at many of Chandler’s family fun centers, but at Giggles and Makutu’s Island, they are free to explore more at these larger facilities. 

Young kids will enjoy a visit to Uptown Jungle Fun Park for wall-to-wall trampoline fun whereas Kids That Rip, Big Air Trampoline Park, and Rush Xtreme offer a number of activities to engage the whole family with activities that are adaptable for teens and adults.

With more than 330 days of sunshine, it’s easy to stay active and enjoy some quality family time at one of Chandler’s more than 60 parks including several, large, regional parks just waiting to be explored.  From Playtopia at Tumbleweed Park, one of the region’s largest playgrounds at 2.5 acres, it is an ideal place to play with slides, climbing structures and bridges to explore or take a more imaginative route and enjoy a stroll around the lake at Veterans Oasis Park for some urban birding or take in the self-guided Chandler Solar System Walk.  

All ages are welcome to explore restored train cars from different time periods in our country’s rail history at the Arizona Railway Museum. The attraction is staffed by volunteers and is open Saturdays and Sundays from Labor Day to Memorial Day. ⁣

The Chandler Center for the Arts features a variety of year-round entertainment from international, national and regional entertainers and organizations including musical performances, magic, ballet, dance and annual events – all are a great avenue to exploring the arts as a family.

Explore the iconic Chandler Museum which showcases local exhibits and hosts regional and national exhibits the whole family will enjoy.  Visitors will find a variety of family programming and a gift shop at this Arizona museum, located near Chandler Fashion Center mall.
