Best Places to Grab a Beer in Chandler
The craft beer community in Chandler continues to thrive as is seen with the expanding number of breweries popping up in Chandler. There is no shortage of places to pop in for a local brew and with many showcasing the best of Arizona craft beer. Here is a guide to Chandler’s breweries, tap rooms and gastropubs for cold pints and bites.
SanTan Brewing Company
Back to Top of ListOne of the state’s best craft breweries is located in Downtown Chandler. SanTan Brewing Company specializes in Southwestern-style ales, which have slightly more carbonation, like its highly regarded pale ale, Devil’s Ale. Other year round beers include HopShock IPA, Mr. Pineapple, MoonJuice IPA, SunSpot Gold, Epicenter Amber, and Gordo Stout.
The brewery also has a seasonal lineup (watch for Sex Panther, a double chocolate porter available November through January) and limited releases that are aged a minimum of six to eight weeks. Several beers such as Hibiscus Pale Ale, Cherry Vanilla Stout, and Negro Nitron Black IPA are only available on tap at the brewery.
Located in Downtown Chandler, SanTan Breweing Company is Chandler's largest brewer.

Hop Central Brewery and Taproom
Back to Top of ListHop Central Brewery and Taproom currently has two of its own beers, its House IPA and a brown ale called The Big Tasty. The majority of its remaining 36 taps dispense craft brews from Arizona favorite breweries, including SanTan, The Phoenix Ale Brewery, Pedal Haus, Huss, Goldwater Brewing, and McFate.
