Dog-friendly restaurants
Thanks to the more than 300 days of sunshine Arizona enjoys every year, patio dining is a favorite pastime for Chandler locals and visitors…and their four-legged friends. Located in south Chandler, BLD is the perfect place to bring your pooch. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant has a K-9 menu with bowls ranging in price from $4 to $8. Treat your dog to the Hound Bowl, a ground beef patty served with rice.
At SanTan Brewing Company, pets receive a free peanut butter pupachino, while Brews TapHouse satisfies both dogs and owners with its chill vibe. Tryst Café is another pet-friendly location. As guests enjoy a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner, their furry companion gets his own treats and fresh water.
Hiking with your dog
Chandler has plenty of trails to give you and your pup a chance to stretch your legs and take in some fresh air. The park boasts more than 150 different species of birds.

Chandler dog parks
You’ll find some of the Valley’s best dog parks in Chandler. Located at Paseo Vista Recreation Area, Shawnee Park, Snedigar Sportsplex, and Nozomi Park, the dog parks feature 6-foot-high chain link fences to keep your dog safe. All four also have doggy drinking fountains, pooper-scoopers, benches for dog owners, and obstacles to entertain your pet. Snedigar Dog Park has a fake fire hydrant, as well.
To play at the park, your dog must be up-to-date on his vaccines. Additionally, dogs in season are not allowed, and you can’t bring food into the fenced area. Paseo Vista, Snedigar, and Nozomi Dog Park are all open 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Shawnee Park is open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
