The best way to start the day is with a tasty breakfast. Make sure you start yours right with breakfast at any of these five Chandler restaurants.
Family owned and operated since 1986, U.S. Egg serves hearty traditional breakfasts. Feast on biscuits and gravy, omelets, benedicts or their signature protein pancakes made with blueberries, homemade granola, slivered almonds and cinnamon. Or opt for the Southwestern favorite huevos rancheros, a tortilla covered with beef chili, cheese and two eggs. You’ll find plenty of healthy options on the menu, too, including vegan waffles and avocado toast, and the coffee is so good, the restaurant now sells it by the bag. Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and can be enjoyed on the patio, as well as inside or ordered to go.
5840 W. Chandler Blvd.
A relative newcomer to the Chandler breakfast scene, Hash Kitchen dishes up more than tasty corned beef, herb fried chicken and other hashes. It also offers classic breakfast entrées like eggs over easy and pancakes, as well as creative takes like s’mores French toast and cannoli donuts, sugar-dusted fried dough with a sweet cannoli cream. Gluten-free options and a kid’s menu are available, too. The restaurant also boasts Arizona’s largest Bloody Mary bar with more than 40 toppings and a full bar crafting morning cocktails and fruity mimosas. If you’re feeling adventurous, sample a Cereal Flight Shooter, four shots of cereal-infused, spiked coconut milk, as you listen to the DJ spin tunes.

Downtown Chandler Café and Bakery
Local favorite Downtown Chandler Café and Bakery makes everything from scratch daily, using only the freshest ingredients. That includes the ciabatta bread served as toast, the fresh-baked pastries in the case, and the homemade granola you can order for breakfast. Get there at 7 a.m. when the restaurant opens for the best selection. For breakfast, choose from traditional dishes like the two-egg American breakfast, waffles, or cheese omelet. Or chow down on a Southwestern breakfast like chilaquiles, featuring tortilla chips smothered in red chili sauce and topped with two eggs. Can’t decide? You can’t go wrong with the John Wayne platter: two corn tortillas, two eggs, ham, home fries and a mild salsa.

Cherish Farm Fresh Eatery
If a healthy breakfast is a priority, look no further than Cherish Farm Fresh Eatery. Its menu features vegan, keto, gluten-free and dairy-free options, as well as healthy dishes prepared from scratch with fresh, natural and, whenever possible, locally-sourced ingredients. Try the French toast made with locally baked Noble Bread, or the breakfast bowl made with Japanese eggplant, red quinoa, poached egg and tahini vinaigrette. For keto diners, the keto benedict features cloud bread, a poached egg, tomato jam, bacon and bacon fat hollandaise. Cherish also serves fruit bowls, cold-pressed juices and organic coffee. While breakfast is served weekdays until 11 a.m., you can enjoy an expanded brunch menu on weekends from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Contemporary styling, a full bar and farm-fresh ingredients set BLD—short for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner—apart from its competitors. For breakfast, nosh on favorites like eggs and bacon, pancakes, or buttermilk fried chicken and waffles. Or sample one of BLD’s many hashes like the Farmer’s Hash made with ham, red onion, breakfast potatoes, and Swiss cheese. In addition to breakfast in the main dining area or on the patio, you can now take advantage of BLD’s new private dining space for business breakfast meetings. If you’re in a rush, the restaurant has a drive-thru where you can pick up smoothies, protein shakes, coffee drinks and carryout breakfast items.
