Best Places to Grab a Beer in Chandler
The craft beer community in Chandler continues to thrive as is seen with the expanding number of breweries popping up in Chandler. There is no shortage of places to pop in for a local brew and with many showcasing the best of Arizona craft beer. Here is a guide to Chandler’s breweries, tap rooms and gastropubs for cold pints and bites.
SanTan Brewing Company
One of the state’s best craft breweries is located in Downtown Chandler. SanTan Brewing Company specializes in Southwestern-style ales, which have slightly more carbonation, like its highly regarded pale ale, Devil’s Ale. Other year round beers include HopShock IPA, Mr. Pineapple, MoonJuice IPA, SunSpot Gold, Epicenter Amber, and Gordo Stout.
The brewery also has a seasonal lineup (watch for Sex Panther, a double chocolate porter available November through January) and limited releases that are aged a minimum of six to eight weeks. Several beers such as Hibiscus Pale Ale, Cherry Vanilla Stout, and Negro Nitron Black IPA are only available on tap at the brewery.
The Perch Brewery & Pub
Also popular with beer lovers, The Perch Brewery & Pub has 40 craft beers on tap, many of which are brewed onsite. The ever-changing selection of Perch beers includes favorites like the Mas Macho Pilsner; Howler Back Girl, a hefeweizen; and the Why So Mad Bro, a rye beer.
