If you’re looking for a more-than-just-your-average golf game, Stinger’s Golf Club checks all the boxes.

Just ask owner Tyler Wilson, who started toying with the idea of opening an indoor golf facility after, naturally, having a golf outing canceled due to rain.

“I was in Chicago visiting some friends. We scheduled a golf game, which, unfortunately, got rained out,” he explains. “The folks at the club recommended a local indoor golf facility and when I walked in, I was kind of shocked that this type of thing existed. I mean, it makes a lot of sense, but I hadn’t ever heard of one, especially coming from Arizona where it would be a great fit.”

No stranger to running a business—Wilson owned a freight and shipping operation—he started researching similar facilities and, ultimately, found his calling. “I knew I wanted to get into a new venture, something that I was more passionate about,” he says. “I was always finding myself trying to get out and golf, so I knew this was it.”

Opened in 2023, the family-owned business combines the thrill of a round of golf with the convenience of a high-tech, climate-controlled environment. Thanks to their state-of-the-art golf simulators, you can tee off on some of the world’s most famous courses without ever leaving Arizona. The technology is so advanced that you'll feel like you’re right there on the course with every drive, chip and putt—minus the sunburn.

“The technology has come a long way, and people are definitely more open minded to the idea of playing inside and on a computer, if you will,” Wilson says. “Plus, you can ‘play’ some of the world’s most famous courses, which is a pretty cool opportunity.”

If you’re looking for a spot for your next team-building event or group outing, Stinger's is an ace in that department, too. With flexible spaces and customizable packages, it’s a great place to bring your crew together for some friendly competition.

“We love to host any kind of event, from birthday or bachelor parties to corporate outings,” says Wilson. “The group can be as small eight to 10 people using one bay, to up to 100 people for a full buyout of the venue.”

But Stinger’s isn’t just about golf. It’s also the perfect spot to kick back with friends, grab a bite, and enjoy a drink or two. Their menu offers everything from classic bar bites to more elevated options, perfect for refueling after a round or just hanging out and watching others play.

And when it comes to drinks, their selection will have you feeling like you hit a hole-in-one. Whether you're into craft beers, cocktails, or something non-alcoholic, they've got the perfect pairing for your day of play.

Named for the low-flying shot that Tiger Woods made famous, Stinger’s currently has one location in Chandler. But based on the positive reception the venue has received since opening in 2023, Wilson is excited about future growth.

“We do hope to grow and establish a footprint in which anyone who goes to a Stinger’s will know they're getting the exact same thing no matter which location they go to,” says Wilson.

For now, you can find Stinger’s conveniently located in east Chandler. They’re open daily, making it convenient to stop by any time—whether it’s for a quick round after work or a weekend hangout.

So if you’re ready to putt your way to a good time, head over to Stinger’s Golf Club, where the love of the game and a great day out come together.
