You don’t need to leave Chandler to celebrate National Martini Day on June 19th or any day! Here are seven local bars—in honor of one of the greatest martini drinkers, James Bond, 007—here you’ll find the classic cocktail.

The Brickyard Downtown

85 W. Boston St.
Chandler, AZ 85225
(480) 963-1373

Although the cocktail menu doesn’t list a traditional martini—head mixologist Bobby Kramer’s line-up includes takes on classics like the Stirred Tommy’s Margarita and the Lavender Bee’s Knees as well as more creative selections—the bar here knows how to make one of the best you’ve ever tasted.

If you’re particular about the vodka or gin used in your martini, The Brickyard Downtown offers a solid selection. Vodkas range from Tito’s to Zubrowka Bison Grass while gins run the gamut from Tanqueray No. Ten and Aviation to St. George Terroir.

Another option: For craft cocktails, including martinis, check out The Ostrich, located below Crust in downtown Chandler.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

3435 W. Chandler Blvd.
Chandler, AZ 85226
(480) 814-8003

The cocktail menu at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill features two martinis: the Double Black Diamond and the Dirty Bird. The Double Black Diamond is the bar’s signature martini made with Svedka All Natural Citron Vodka that has been infused with fresh pineapple for 21 days. Enjoy it half price ($5) during happy hour.

For a more traditional martini, try the Dirty Bird, made with chilled Belevedere Vodka and garnished with bleu cheese olives. Or, order a custom martini with your choice of vodka or gin.

More martinis: If you love a good martini with your steak, Firebirds isn’t your only option. The Keg Steakhouse + Bar and DC Steak House can also satisfy your craving.

CHoP Chandler

2625 W. Queen Creek Rd.
Chandler, AZ 85248
(480) 821-0009

CHoP Chandler also qualifies as a steakhouse but adds a little more casual fare to its menu, such as seven hamburger offerings and linguini with meatballs. All work well paired with a chilled martini.

If you want something light and fruity to sip during the summer, try the Peach Bikini Martini, made with Deep Eddy Peach Vodka.

Stone & Vine Urban Italian

1035 W. Queen Creek Rd.
Chandler, AZ 85248
(480) 659-7438

Don’t let the “vine” in Stone & Vine Urban Italian fool you—this restaurant’s bar pours a great martini, too. The classic martini is always a good choice, but staff can also mix up the Cucumber Basil Martini, made with Effen Cucumber Vodka, simply syrup, basil, and muddled limes. After dinner, sip an Espresso Martini, featuring Tito’s Vodka, Baileys, espresso, and Kahlua.

Tip: Both of the specialty martinis are $2 off during happy hour.

D'Vine Bistro & Wine Bar

3990 S. Alma School Rd.
Chandler, AZ 85248
(480) 782-5550

There’s more to D’Vine Bistro & Wine Bar than food and wine—the bar has a solid mixology program featuring classics like the Sazerac and Negroni as well as creative offerings and a cocktail of the day.

Martini lovers can opt for the Cucumber Martini, made with cucumber vodka, mint liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup, or ask for a classic martini. For dessert, enjoy the Chocolate Martini, a mix of vanilla vodka, Bailys, white crème de cacao, chocolate, and a splash of cream.

Something similar: The Living Room is also a neighborhood wine bar with a great cocktail program, including martinis.

Kai

5594 W. Wild Horse Pass Blvd.
Chandler, AZ 85226
(602) 225-0100

The most celebrated restaurant in the state, Kai also has one of the best bars, too. Its menu features one martini—the Great Fruit Martini, a blend of Stoli Vanil, Belvedere Grapefruit, passion fruit, lime, grapefruit, and dehydrated candied grapefruit—but you can ask for a martini made to your specifications, too, using premium vodkas such as Grey Goose or Tito’s or one of the nine gins.
