Southwest Cajun Fest
Enjoy beignets, beads, and cajun cuisine at Chandler's annual Southwest Cajun Fest. This jubilant Mardi Gras and NOLA-themed celebration of Cajun culture is an immersive event produced by Arizona event promoter Forty8 Live!, Returning to Downtown Chandler for its 12th year, the Chandler Southwest Cajun Fest 2024 will color Downtown Chandler's Dr. A.J. Chandler Park in purple, green and gold on February 3, 2024, from 2-9 p.m.
Guests of all ages can expect live Dixieland performances, a dueling piano battle, a Bourbon Street bead-throwing experience, a petting zoo with live alligators, street magicians, stilt walkers, and much more. Adults can seek out a hidden Prohibition-era-themed speakeasy to enjoy cocktails in an immersive environment, and kids will get creative with Mardi Gras mask decorating and face painting. Foodies can explore a taste of New Orleans favorites, like gumbo, frog legs, beignets, po boys, hush puppies, catfish, alligator bites, a seafood boil, and “The Swamp” bar featuring handcrafted hurricanes, daiquiris, and other themed cocktails.
