Tumbleweed Recreation Center

The City of Chandler celebrated the grand opening of its state-of-the art, multi-purpose Tumbleweed Recreation Center in April 2008. The 62,000-square-foot facility offers an assortment of athletic and educational activities for all age groups and features a fitness center, indoor track, group exercise studio, gymnasium, game room, art and ceramics studios, racquetball courts, teaching kitchen, room rentals, birthday party packages, computer lab, free wi-fi and more. The centerpiece of the facility is the 6,000-square-foot fitness area with 41 pieces of cardiovascular equipment and more than 44 strength pieces. Visitors are welcome and can purchase a daily pass: $4 for adults, $3 for active adults and teens, and $2 for children under 12.
