Desert Voyagers Guided Rafting Tours

Our scenic guided river tours are a perfect introduction to the beauty and wonder of the Sonoran Desert. Bring the whole family along on a mild rafting trip, pilot your own craft on a fun and exhilarating guided kayak adventure, or learn a new skill with a fun and challenging stand up paddle board tour. All of Desert Voyagers trips are designed to emphasize the unique beauty of the surrounding desert and the plants and animals who call this area home. You guides will introduce you to the mighty saguaro cactus, explain just how a beaver builds its home, and illuminate the rich human and natural history of the Salt River, all while teaching you the skills to be a confident paddler. Each tour can be made suitable for beginners, rafting float trips are suitable for all ages and ability levels. Our tours are offered on the Salt and Verde Rivers in the Tonto National Forest, 30 minutes east of the Mesa area. Groups and individuals welcome. Average trip is about two hours on the water. Snacks, water, equipment and professional safety certified guides are included. Hotel pick-up is available.
