Chandler Museum staff will explain the reason a 1914 Chandler newspaper article declared, “Ostriches are all the rage in Chandler, and dot the landscape by the hundreds.” Hear the story of Roughneck and the journey of the first herd of ostriches into Chandler. This amusing History Bites program will provide insights to this unique part of Chandler History.
