With morning temperatures in the 70s, it's a great time to pay a visit to one of Chandler's 60+ recreational parks and enjoy some active time with the young ones and give them a chance to burn some energy! One of the most popular parks to visit is Tumbleweed Park, a 205-acre regional park with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around and play with plenty of play zones, shaded areas and plenty of ramadas. Of course, its call to fame is Playtopia, a 2.5 acre play area that kids between 2-10 years of age are sure to LOVE! The park features a rock climbing wall, covered play structure and zip line - it'll keep them busy for a while.

Did you know that kids can view live desert creatures like snakes and scorpions (all in cages, thankfully!) at the Chandler Nature Center at Veteran's Oasis Park or have an "urban fishing" experience at many of Chandler Parks' water features. At Desert Breeze Park and Desert Breeze Railroad, tots can ride an open-air train on board the 1880's Replica Engine or take a spin on the Allan Herschell carousel . You may want to allow some extra time at Desert Breeze Park to take advantage of the shaded play area, rock climbing wall or the spray animals. Paseo Vista Park is 64 acres of fun with play spaces, disc golf, archery center, walking trails and dog parks, it is fun for the whole family and Fido, too!
