It’s back! Presented by Intel, the On The House Free Summer Concert Series at the Chandler Center for the Arts returns again in 2017.

All five shows do not require tickets, and are free to the public. There is one concert every weekend sure to excite its attendees with a diverse mix of artists, who will take the viewers on a journey through different genres of music. 

The series begins on Friday, August 4, at 7:30 p.m. with Santa Pachita and special guest, Funky Bonz. The nine-piece band performs a variety of energetic music that will have viewers dancing the night away. 

Continuing the series, on Sunday, August 13, at 3:00 p.m., the Robby Roberson Band will bring the audience an unforgettable performance of rock, blues, gospel and jazz. Featuring multiple string instruments, the Robby Roberson Band will immerse the audience in a passionate performance of dynamic rhythms.

On Sunday, August 20, at 7:00 p.m., Niki J. Crawford has high energy funk, and a performance that brings the soul party to the stage. Viewers will enjoy good vibes and a vibrant performance from a powerful artist.

On Friday, August 25, at 7:30 p.m., the Jessica Fichot Band will bring listeners on a worldwide trip through French chanson tradition, gypsy jazz, Chinese 1940’s swing, international folk, and a stop in her own imagination. 

Concluding the series on Saturday, September 9, at 7:30 p.m., Sure Fire Soul Ensemble will bring the heat with their heavy cinematic soul performance. This is a rare genre, featuring the organ, gritty funk and original soundtracks that fans won’t want to miss. 

All seating is first come, first serve, so be sure to arrive early to get front row views of the summer’s hottest performances.
