Chandler Farmers Market

Details: Calling all Farmers Market lovers! The Chandler Farmers Market runs every Thursday in Downtown Chandler through May. The market offers a selection of fresh produce, bread, tamales, and other delicious treats! Arts, crafts, and jewelry are also sold at the market.

Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-Off

Date: Saturday, November 7, 2015
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: Tumbleweed Park, 2250 S. McQueen Road
Admission: Lunch tickets are $12.00, Free event admittance
Details: Live music, western history, art, and food! Plan your Saturday right by heading out to the 6th Annual Chuck Wagon Cook-Off at Tumbleweed Park. Teams work together to cook five courses: bread, beans, meat, potatoes, and dessert, with a winner announced for every category. Tickets for meals sell out quickly, so make sure to get yours! Tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m., with lunch served at Noon.

Urban Fishing Clinic & Outdoor Safety Event

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2015
Time: 8:30 a.m. - Noon
Location: Veterans Oasis Park, NEC of Chandler Heights and Lindsay roads
Admission: Free
Details: The 7th Annual Urban Fishing Clinic & Outdoor Safety event takes place at the Environmental Education Center at Veterans Oasis Park and is open to all ages. The event is Co-sponsored by the City of Chandler Police Department and the Arizona Game and Fish Department. Both agencies will be on hand to offer free information, demonstrations, and activities! Sportfishing instructors will be on hand to assist with instruction. This is a great event for the entire family- especially for those who enjoy fishing or would like to learn more about Arizona fishing.

Rock the Block! - Chandler's Block Party

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2015
Time: Noon. - 10:00 p.m.
Location: Downtown Chandler
Admission: Free
Details: Chandler's Rock the Block! Party returns for its 6th year with fun and activities for the whole family! The event various Chandler businesses and will also offer live entertainment, a beer garden, food, retail, and arts and crafts vendors. Kids will also get to enjoy the festivities with interactive games and rides, face painting and a zip-line. 

Sonoran Sunset Series at Veterans Oasis Park

Date: Thursday, November 19, 2015, 6-7 p.m.
Location: Veterans Oasis Park, 4050 E. Chandler Heights Rd.
Admission: Free
Details: Grab a blanket, grab a snack and enjoy the wonderful fall weather with an evening of FREE lakeside entertainment that is fun for the whole family! The Sonoran Sunset Concert Series is held at Veterans Oasis Park at the northeast corner of Chandler Heights and Lindsay roads. The performances are held at the lakeside amphitheater and in the event of inclement weather, the performances will be held indoors at the park's Environmental Education Center. Tonight's music will be provided by Arizona's very own, Soul Country - a great blend of folk, alternative country, and rock.

Downtown Chandler Art Walk

Date: Friday, November 20, 2015
Location: Dr. AJ Chandler Park, Downtown Chandler

Details: The Downtown Chandler Art Walk is held from 6-10:00 p.m., the 3rd Friday of every month from September through July. The Art Walk serves as a showcase for local artists and a great evening in Downtown Chandler. Artists display their work, ranging from oil painting and photographic to finely-crafted jewelry. The Downtown Chandler Art Walk also includes live music, food and artist demonstrations and is a great way to kick off the holiday season. 

Downtown Chandler Concert Series

Date: Saturday, November 21 and Saturday, November 28, 2015
Location: Downtown Chandler, Library Plaza, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave
Admission: General Admission $20 + applicable fees; VIP $65 + applicable fees
Details: The Downtown Chandler Community Partnership will kick off its inaugural Downtown Chandler Concert Series this fall. Entertainment lineups will feature national recording artists from around the country. Two concerts are scheduled to take place in November: Saturday, November 21st - Robert Randolph and the Family Band; and on Saturday, November 28th - Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Tickets for the concert series may be purchased from the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership's website.
