Nothing ends a day of social distancing better than a cold beer enjoyed at home. Thankfully, a good brew isn’t out of reach thanks to a slew of Chandler breweries and restaurants offering pickup or curbside delivery of your favorite suds that can be brought home and served with your takeout dinner order. Here are just a few spots that have perfected the art of beer-to-go.

SanTan Brewing Company

Chandler’s hometown brewery is making sure you always have a beer on hand thanks to their easy beer pick-up and delivery program. Available in 32- and 54-ounce growlers, brews run the gamut from the Epicenter Amber Ale, to the HefeWeizen Wheat, to the SanTan-a-Rita. Also look out for special limited-release beers, such as the KiloHop Double IPA, a bold Imperial IPA loaded with hops and a touch of Arizona honey. You can also pick up 6- and 24-packs of beer straight from the Chandler production facility, as well as spirits, bitters and liqueurs.

HOP Central Brewery and Taproom

The folks at HOP believe social distancing is much easier with a good craft beer. We couldn’t agree more! Swing by and fill your crowler or growler with your favorite craft beer for 20 percent off each fill. Enjoy HOP favorites and new beers on tap, such as Saltfire Brewing Co.’s “Big in Japan” New England IPA, featuring tropical fruits like tangerine and berries, and herbal and pine notes. Bottled beer is also available for 10 percent off.

For the perfect evening at home, order a hearty bite and wash it down with a frosty beer poured straight from your growler. Fills are available when you place an order for takeout.

The Local

One of Downtown Chandler’s favorite hotspots gives a whole new meaning to the word “local.” Offering a menu filled with dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients, The Local also showcases Arizona-made beers. With 18 rotating taps, you’ll be able to choose from your favorite pilsners, lagers, IPAs, stouts and more. Everything on the menu is available for takeout, which is an experience in itself. That’s because on Fridays, curbside pickups feature live entertainment by a local performer or musician. The best part? Twenty percent of food sales are donated to out-of-work musicians affected by COVID-19.
