After four successful trivia night events at The Ostrich last year, Chandler Museum is back with its popular Tuesday evening out that combines historic photos from its archive with classic cocktails, delicious food, and the fantastic kitsch of Hip Historian Marshall Shore.

“We are really excited to do a second year of Trivia Nights with Marshall,” says Jody Crago, Chandler Museum Administrator. “And, this year we are adding Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to the schedule. Between Alamo and The Ostrich, we must be having these events at the two coolest places in our city.”

The first trivia night is Tuesday, May 30, 7 – 9 p.m., at The Ostrich, 10 N. San Marcos Place (in the basement of Crust). Ease back into a normal week after the long Memorial Day weekend with a craft cocktail in one hand and a pencil in the other as you answer questions about the history behind some Chandler’s streets, their names and their happenings.

The second evening to put on your calendar is Tuesday, June 13, 7 – 9 p.m., at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, 4955 S. Arizona Avenue. Attendees will hear all about the East Valley’s baseball past, while they compete with other trivia enthusiasts at this inaugural event. It is going to be a fun evening with friends, enjoying delicious food and drinks with the outrageous fun that is Marshall Shore.

“We are still working out the details for the second set of trivia nights,” says Crago. “But, we hope you will keep an eye out for a second date at The Ostrich in August and one at Alamo Drafthouse in October. I know that everyone who goes will have a great time.”
