Spring has sprung and what better way to celebrate (at home, of course) than with a refreshing cocktail? Whether you’re a connoisseur of the classics or enjoy creative concoctions, these Chandler bars and restaurants will have you saying cheers in no time.

The Hidden House

Truth be told, The Hidden House doesn’t hold back when it comes to unique cocktails. The latest offerings include the Diddy Do It, a spicy margarita made with passion fruit, lime, yuzu, Aperol and Deleon Blanco tequila. Cocktails are available for pick up or delivery, and when you get home, sip your drink as you watch the latest episode of the Social Distance Drinking Club, an informal, yet informative virtual convo with local industry professionals and cocktail connoisseurs, who dish on booze, brews and food. Find out when episodes air on The Hidden House’s Facebook page.

The Brickyard Downtown

Known for putting a fun spin on such cocktails as the French 75, Hemingway Daquiri, and Sazerac, The Brickyard Downtown is a craft cocktail lover’s dream. Stop by and pick up one (or two) of their latest drinks. Try the Old Fashioned made with rye or bourbon, Demerara syrup, and Angostura bitters; or the Pimm’s Punch, featuring Ketel One cucumber mint vodka, Pimm’s No. 1, ginger, lemon and mint, and clarified with milk. For something completely different, sip on the Whoa Mommalade! made with Tanqueray gin, Cocchi Rosa, Lucky Falernum, grenadine, lemon and yuzu marmalade. On Fridays, order a cocktail to go, then log on at home and jam out to live entertainment on Downtown Chandler Friday Night Live’s new virtual format.

Valle Luna

Nothing goes better together than your favorite Mexican fare and a frosty margarita. And no one knows that better than the folks at Valle Luna, a family-run Mexican eatery specializing in Sonoran cuisine that’s been in business for nearly 40 years. Get the most bang for your buck by ordering a family meal deal—complete with your choice of mini tacos, chimichangas, enchiladas, rice, refried beans, chips and salsa—along with a quart or 2-liter size of their ready-made margaritas (just add ice). For a little extra, go for the Maestro Dobel margarita kit, featuring a 750ml bottle of Dobel’s Diamante tequila and a 32-oz. container of house-made margarita mix.

St. Amand Kitchen + Cocktails - Cocktails to-go

St. Amand Kitchen & Cocktails

These days, the biggest decision you may have to make on any given day is, “Margarita or sangria?” Fortunately, at St. Amand you can have both! The upscale eatery in Chandler’s Ocotillo neighborhood is offering their St. Sangria and St. Margarita to go. The house-made margarita is 18 ounces and perfect for sipping on a sunny day, while the 26-oz. sangria is great for sharing over a delicious dinner, courtesy of St. Amand, of course. Food and drink are available for curbside carry-out only, and I.D. will be required at pick up.

Grubstak

Located in south Chandler, Grubstak is the place to go for great grub served with equally great cocktails. Choose from the GrubbHound, made with Svedka vodka, St. Germaine and grapefruit juice; the house margarita blended with house tequila, triple sec and lime juice; or the Tito’s Soda, mixed with soda water, Tito’s vodka and lemon. But for something truly unique, have the Ocotillo Sky, one of the specialty cocktails featured in Chandler’s Cocktail Trail. Inspired by the beautiful sunsets that paint the skies over Chandler, the drink is made with your choice of tequila or rum, orange juice, pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine, making it the perfect drink to sit back and unwind with.
