While our spring celebrations may look a little different this year, thanks to Chandler restaurants, we can still enjoy the bounty of a beautiful spring meal. Here are a few local restaurants offering Easter and Passover dinners, perfect for your at-home gatherings.

The Sicilian Butcher

Located by Chandler Fashion Center, The Sicilian Butcher is celebrating Easter by offering a hearty Italian-style, to-go feast. Dinner features a Sicilian salad, cazzilli (Italian potato croquettes), baked pasta, boneless leg of lamb with pappardelle pasta, and chicken cacciatore braised with onion and peppers, served with mushrooms, potatoes and tomato herb sauce.

And because no Easter meal is complete without dessert, indulge in an assortment of Italian cookies or order a decadent dessert cake. Try the Cassata Siciliana, a sponge cake made with marzipan, cannoli filling and candied fruit; or the Easter grain cake, made with sweet ricotta and orange. The cost is $38 per person, with a five-person minimum.

Chompie’s

To help families celebrate Passover and Easter, Chompie’s is bringing feasts home with special dinners that can be delivered or picked up curbside.

From April 8 to 16, a Passover meal box is being offered, featuring turkey with matzo stuffing, or brisket with potato pancake and homestyle green beans. Both dinners come with a pint of matzo ball soup and macaroons. Individual meals, basic dinners and full traditional meals are also available.

For Easter, guests can pick up a full Easter brunch, complete with eggs, bacon, ham, home fries, bagels, cream cheese, fruit salad and a muffin loaf. A la carte options include a smoked salmon package with tomato and red onion, or the mimosa package with a bottle of Champagne and a gallon of orange juice.

And in the true spirit of community, Chompie’s is contributing 5 percent of sales during Easter weekend. Through the Chompie’s Cares program, church organizations can enroll online to receive their reimbursement.

Crowne Plaza Phoenix Chandler Golf Resort

Open since 1912, Arizona’s first golf resort has been a favorite haunt for celebrities, dignitaries and professional golfers. In addition to its pristine greens, the resort also features an on-site restaurant that, this year, is offering a spectacular Easter brunch that can be shared and enjoyed at home.

Designed for a family of four, the feast begins with a 9-inch quiche (choice of vegetarian or Lorraine); followed by salad choices including classic Caesar, mixed greens, kale-roasted pepitas, and a Southwest-inspired chopped salad. For the entrée, indulge in a herb and garlic roasted chicken breast or 40-oz. glazed pit ham with apple glaze, served garlic mashed potatoes, rice pilaf, green beans, and dinner rolls with butter. For dessert, add a whole pumpkin or pecan pie. The cost is $99, plus tax.  Reserve your meal by Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
