With 327 miles of paved bike lanes and paths, Chandler is friendly to bicyclists of all abilities and levels. Road cyclists will enjoy Chandler's wide streets with plenty of bike lanes. In addition, there are plenty of multi-use paths for casual cyclists looking for a fun outing.

  • Mostly paved, the 6.5-mile Paseo Trail is a 10-foot-wide concrete multi-use pathway on the eastern side of the Consolidated Canal. The western side of the canal is an unimproved dirt surface in most areas that can be used for horseback riding or bicycling.
  • Extend your ride further on the Consolidated Canal multi-use path. This multi-use trail is an 18-mile path that runs from Chandler through Gilbert and into Mesa.

Bicycling in SanTan Mountain Regional Park - San Tan Mountain Regional Park offers over 8 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Trails range from 1.1 miles to more than 5 miles, and range in difficulty from easy to strenuous.
