The 17th Annual Chandler Mariachi Festival presented by C.A.L.L.E de Arizona, features two popular Mariachi ensembles for a vibrant evening of music and traditional folkloric dance of Mexico. This year's festival features Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, a 13-piece ensemble and one of the biggest names in Mariachi. Best known for their album, “Amor, Dolor y Lágrima” which earned a Grammy for best Mexican regional album in 2009. Other entertainment highlights include: Mariachi Sonido de Mexico Dancers from Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ Tradiciones Dance Company Ballet Folklorico Primavera Institute of Folklorico Mexicano Rascapetatiando Dance Company Doors at the Chandler Center for the Arts will open at 5:30 p.m. for an inspiring art exhibition featuring Armandina Cruz, founder of La Casa del Rebozo in Guadalajara and nationally recognized Deshilado Artist Adela Rodriguez. Guests are invited to mix and mingle in the lobby bar while enjoying the Rebozo Runway show featuring models from FADAMA. Other exhibit highlights include local artists, vendors, and a silent auction packed with amazing gifts from local restaurants and businesses.
