Arizona Harvest Fest

The Arizona Harvest Fest is a celebration of autumn highlighting Arizona’s cooler weather and the bountiful fall season featuring a plethora of recreational activities, fun for all ages.  Activities include a pumpkin toss, cornhole, pie-eating contest, corn shucking, cake walk, hay maze and kid’s zone.  For those 21+, the Arizona Harvest Fest brings together a seasonal beer garden featuring local pumpkin ales and seasonal brews for your craft beer 

The Magic and Illusions of Eric Giliam

Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off

Date: November 11th 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. and November 12th 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

It’s time for a uniquely Western culinary event that is fun for all ages.  Experience a close-up look on what life was like in the 1880s as chuck wagons from the around the country compete to create the best meal for the trail while utilizing the slow-cook, wood-fire methods of yesteryear.  

On Friday, it’s the Junior Chuck Wagon Cook-off, cooking demonstrations and wagon rides to the Arizona Railway Museum all accompanied by live music and capped off with an evening campfire and s’mores.  Saturday brings the ultimate Chuck Wagon Cook-off with lunch for purchase, be sure to purchase your lunch tickets early – they sell out quick!  Other activities on Saturday include musical performances by Pioneer Pepper and the Sunset pioneers along with an artisan and vendor marketplace, storytelling, historic home tours and wagon rides to the Arizona Railway Museum. 

Barbra & Frank, The Concert That Never Was

Barbra & Frank, The Concert That Never Was brings the musical talents of Sharon Owens and Sebastian Anzaldo for a one-of-a kind performance. Fans are invited to this sensational tribute of the memorable songs they’ve loved for years with this “must see” show that brings together the music and banter of two iconic singers for an unforgettable evening. 

Sonoran Sunset Concert Series at Veterans Oasis Park

Date: November 17th at 6 p.m.
Location: Veterans Oasis Park – 4050 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85249

Take time to appreciate the wonderful fall season with an evening of lakeside entertainment at the lakeside amphitheater at Veterans Oasis Park.  Attendees are encouraged to bring food, blankets and chairs and enjoy local desert rock band, Soul Country for a delightful evening the whole family will enjoy.   

In the event of inclement weather, the performance will be held indoors at the Environmental Education Center at Veterans Oasis Park.

Downtown Chandler Art Walk

For November, the Downtown Chandler Art Walk takes on a literary theme with special author exhibits featuring more than 15 local authors alongside 35+ traditional artist showcases.  Guests will also enjoy live music by Arizona based duo, 76th Street.  

Lights of the World

This year, families will enjoy the new and largest lights show in North America, Lights of the World from November 18, 2016 -January 29, 2017.  Combining the age-old Chinese lantern tradition with state of the art technology, the event will feature 11 exhibits with 75 stunning displays for an unforgettable excursion.  The event will also feature 30+carnival rides and games, acrobatics along with dance and music concerts.  

New York Gypsy All Stars

Masters of modern Balkan Gypsy music, the New York Gypsy All Stars brings an eclectic, energetic and original musical performance to the Chandler Center for the Arts.

Rock the Block

It’s the seventh annual Rock the Block - Chandler’s largest, annual block party bringing together live music and entertainment, kids zone, top local restaurants and food trucks along with more than 100 vendors for a fun and dynamic marketplace. 

Woofstock

The spotlight is on our four-legged friends for Chandler’s beloved Woofstock. The annual event features the three-course Great Chandler Dog Walk, agility courses, flyball tournament, pet parades and costumes and various training sessions and plenty of fun for the whole family.   

ZooLights at the Phoenix Zoo

Nutcracker, Ballet Etudes
